Our client, a leading manufacturer in the outdoor recreation and fitness equipment industry, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director or Vice President of Operations to lead and manage its operations team. In this high-impact leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, driving efficiency, and supporting the company’s profitability goals. You will also oversee the successful integration of acquisitions, ensuring seamless alignment across all business functions.
As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the company’s strategic vision – driving sustainable growth, innovation, and continuous improvement across all areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all day-to-day operational functions to ensure streamlined processes, productivity, and cost efficiency
- Manage and integrate new acquisitions into the organization, overseeing all operational, cultural, and structural aspects
- Align operations with the company’s long-term strategy, supporting expansion and innovation initiatives
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team to foster accountability, performance, and collaboration
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction
- Partner with cross-functional leaders in supply chain, manufacturing, product development, and finance to achieve organizational goals
This is an outstanding opportunity for a strategic, hands-on leader with a strong background in operations, organizational integration, and team leadership – particularly within construction, building products and/or manufacturing industry.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Min. 10-15+ year of business operations/ operations management within a growth oriented organization
- Experience within the education, recreation and/or construction/building materials industries required
- Background working within large and small / entrepreneurial spirit organizations
- Proven track record of developing and implementing operational strategies that drive efficiency and profitability
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Ability to travel as needed
Offering:
- Base Salary $200,000 ++ (based on experience)
- Bonus Potential up to 20%
