Our client is a global leader in manufacturing safety products that service healthcare, hospitality and food solutions. They are seeking to hire a Director of Operations responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of organization’s processes and warehouse operations. In this role, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives and ensure operations meets the required standards of service, quality, and cost. Seeking candidates with operations experience and excellent leadership skills.
Role reports to an office.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of operations ensuring efficient operations related to distribution, safety, quality, delivery, service, and cost control
- Lead and implement cost-analysis efforts, focusing on resource optimization and warehouse space utilization
- Manage relationships with suppliers and 3PL partners
- Review and manage contract agreements
- Drive continuous improvement efforts throughout the organization’s operations; analyze warehouse operations performance
- Implement new policies and procedures to improve operations
- Oversee warehouse operations; ensure compliance and standards are met and maintained
- Support development of operating strategies, business plans and performance objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Min. 15+ years of Warehouse Operations experience
- Background in Finance / Financial Analysis
- Previous experience in an Operations Leadership role
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects, meet strict deadlines
- High attention to detail, detail oriented
- Exceptional Leadership & Strategic Planning Skills
- Excellent Communication & Analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Offering:
- Base Salary $150,000 – $200,000+ (based on experience)
- Full Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision), 401K
