Business Specialist – Pharmaceutical

My client provides comprehensive management solutions within the pharmaceutical and healthcare vertical. They are seeking to hire an Business Specialist responsible for overseeing the integrity and accuracy of client data and identify any inconsistencies. Validate data and participate in system design, maintenance and training. Ensure cohesion of current and future systems, documenting information to translate and analyze. Hybrid role that reports to the office 3 days/week.
Responsibilities:
- Identify data inconsistencies and discrepancies by conducting audits and assessments of data
- Involved in implementation process; system design, building validation, optimization, training as well as system maintenance
- Develop training material, test scripts, specification requirements and business process documentation
- Document and prepare reports regarding inventory and scheduling accuracy, downtime and peak order time periods for analysis
- Analyze existing processes, recommend and implement changes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Min. 2-4+ years of Data Analytics experience with a concentration in data quality and integrity
- Supply Chain experience required
- Data Management certification preferred (i.e. CDMP)
- Experience with data analysis techniques and tools
- Experience with Informatica, IBM InfoSphere, Talend and/or similar data quality management tools
- Knowledge/Understanding of data governance principles and practices
- Knowledge/Understanding of data integrity and privacy regulatory requirements (i.e. HIPPA, GDPR)
- Knowledge/Understanding of Good Distribution Practices and Good Documentation Practices
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and prepare reports
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Exceptional Problem-Solving and Analytical skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, SQL experience a plus
Offering:
- Base $70,000 – $80,000 (based on experience)
- Base to $95,000 if Supervisory experience
- Benefits, 401K, PTO
