Business Development Rep – Technology

Our client is a leader that provides analytics and technological solutions within a niche industry. They are seeking to hire a Business Development Rep responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads and identifying new business opportunities. Seeking candidates that are extremely driven by success, with the ability and acumen to represent the clients products and a strong ability for outbound prospecting activities.   This role reports to an office.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect/generate leads via outbound communication
  • Set appointments to present demos on available products/solutions
  • Build a strong pipeline, overcome objections, negotiate and close new business
  • Keep well-informed of available products/services and solutions, educating clients
  • Gain knowledge of prospective clients’ needs and articulate the value proposition of solutions and products
  • Identify business opportunities through cold calling and collaboration w/ sales team to uncover leads
  • New Business development; develop new clients and relationships
  • Establish and build client relationships
  • Maintain CRM database, update with activity
  • Support Sales team with sales campaigns and strategies for lead generation

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Min. 1-2+ year Sales and/or Business Development experience within SaaS preferred
  • Responsible for sales and achieving revenue goals set by management
  • Experience prospecting and closing deals
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM
  • Minimal travel required

 

Offering:

  • Base Salary up to $55,000 (based on experience)
  • Year 1 @ plan $70,000 – $75,000
