Our client is a global leader in financial services and payment services technologies. They are seeking to hire a Regional Sales Manager responsible for managing, developing and overall productivity and effectiveness of a sales team. Responsible for assisting with the strategy and selling process to enhance overall sales capabilities. The Regional Sales Manager will direct and support the consistent implementation of key initiatives to secure business development opportunities (including assisting team with closing transactions as needed), increase revenue and promote growth.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, lead and develop a sales teams (5-8 reps)
  • Manage corporate objectives for growth; lead sales team to meet/exceed sales goals and quotas
  • Evaluate objectives, sales performance and maintain reporting; provide training/coaching as needed
  • Create and implement strategic sales plans, promote sales growth
  • Establish business development plans/strategies based on the market in alignment with needs/objectives
  • Responsible for performance of assigned territory; oversee revenue, transaction volume, merchandising and distribution of services
  • Recommend adjustments for specific markets and generate business plans for approval
  • Identify business opportunities; new business sales, maximize sales and retain existing business
  • Keep well-informed of market trends, data and reports; adjust accordingly to capitalize off findings
  • Maintain and communicate compliance, requirements, standards and applicable codes

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Min. 5+ years of Sales experience within financial services, money transfer industry
  • Sales Management experience preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish required
  • Business Acumen
  • Documented Sales Success of meeting and achieving sales goals
  • Ability to manage and motivate a sales team
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel within the territory approx. 50%

 

Offering:

  • Base Salary $90,000 – $100,000 (based on market and experience)
  • Year 1 @ plan $135,000 – $145,000
  • Uncapped Commissions
  • Mileage Reimbursement
  • Full Benefits Package, 401K
