Our client is a leading manufacturer of sports and recreation equipment. They are seeking to hire a Regional Sales Manager responsible for growing and managing distribution channels, developing those relationships and expanding customer base. The role is responsible for new dealer development and promoting growth.
Role: East Coast (Travel)
Responsibilities:
- Manage existing channel and distribution partners
- Source new channel relationships
- Establish and maintain customer relationships; manage planning, sales trends, client expectations, training, etc.
- Identify distributorship coverage breaks and create plans to increase dealer base
- Research analytics and market trends, as well as competitors
- Review customer history and develop forecast
- Maintain pertinent, detailed data including regulatory information that could influence product sales
- Develop and maintain dealer sales database, product lines and history
- Travel and attend Trade Shows throughout the year
- Provide field sales support and conflict resolution to channel partners
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Min. 5+ years of Sales Management experience within Distributor / Channel Sales
- Seeking backgrounds in construction and building materials
- Previous experience in strategy and sales plans
- Documented of performance and sales success
- Excellent Problem Solving & Communication skills
- Strong Negotiation & Analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM
- Ability to travel up to 50%, some overnights
Offering:
- Base Salary $120,000 + Bonus
