Senior Sales Specialist – Wound Care & Burn

My medical device client is an innovative company that develops and manufactures regenerative therapies for wound and tissue repair. They are seeking to hire a Senior Sales Specialist responsible for being the subject matter expert in their field, growing and penetrating existing clients as well as penetrating new business opportunities. This position involves presentations, educating and training on the products and strategic positioning of the products within the market.
Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed sales goals / quotas (assigned large accounts)
- Drive sales, efficiencies and promote growth within assigned territory
- Sell, develop, manage and train assigned accounts; travel to accounts as needed
- Educate on benefits of organization’s products; conducting meetings, presentations, dinners, etc.
- Manage monthly budget
- Assist with development of pricing model for clients
- Oversee inventory and ordering process; collaborate with other sales reps to ensure maximization of product opportunities
- Develop strategic business plans and sales strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams to create burn business initiatives to increase revenue
- Support on-boarding of new reps ensuring proficiency in products; conduct training as needed
- Attend meetings/conferences
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Min. 3-5+ years of Medical Sales experience within Burn
- Experience selling to hospitals in OR setting
- Existing contacts/relationships within Burn
- Knowledge/Understanding of biotechnology industry and trends
- Ability to develop and manage relationships amongst key decision makers
- Documented Sales Success of meeting and achieving sales goals
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel approx. 75%
Offering:
- Base Salary $100,000 – $110,000+ (based on experience)
- Year 1 @ plan $250,000 – $300,000
