Territory Sales Manager – Architectural Products

Our client—an established leader in premium outdoor furniture and site solutions—is expanding and seeking a high-energy Outside Sales Representative to own and grow the Chicago territory. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven sales professional who thrives in the field, enjoys face-to-face selling, and wants to represent products that enhance parks, campuses, public spaces, and commercial environments. What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to drive consistent growth
- Call on key decision-makers including municipalities, school districts, universities, architects, property managers, contractors, and corporate campuses
- Build new business through proactive outreach: cold calling, networking, referrals, tradeshows, and community engagement
- Own the entire sales cycle from prospecting through close
- Build and manage a robust pipeline using CRM tools
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and high customer satisfaction
- Stay current on product offerings, industry trends, and competitive activity
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales goals
- Travel throughout the assigned Chicago territory
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Min. 3+ years of successful outside B2B sales experience within education, municipal, or commercial markets
- Industry experience in outdoor furniture, playgrounds, recreation, or related products required
- Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- CRM proficiency and comfort working with sales metrics
What’s In It for You:
- Base Salary / Guarantee: $100,000
- Year 1 On-Target Earnings: $120,000–$130,000
- Uncapped commission plan
- Full expense package including mileage reimbursement, travel expenses, laptop, and phone
