My medical device client is an innovative company that develops and manufactures regenerative therapies for wound and tissue repair. They are seeking to hire a Strategic Accounts Director responsible for building key relationships, developing sales strategies and managing key accounts to penetrate specific markets within physician offices and hospitals. In this role, the Director will expand the organization’s reach, adoption and utilization of products/solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Meet/exceed sales goals
  • Develop strategies to penetrate specific accounts/markets expanding adoption and utilization of the company’s products/solutions
  • Collaborate with IDN teams to coordinate amendments, additions and/or requests to contracts
  • Identify opportunities to advance partnerships with IDN teams and sales leaders
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across targeted accounts
  • Lead business reviews; assess performance, opportunities, and strategic alignment
  • Maintain knowledge of market trends, contract requirements and the political landscape of healthcare

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Min. 5+ years of Strategic Account Management experience within the medical device industry
  • Experience selling to hospitals, clinics and/or physician offices
  • Existing relationships/contacts within the territory
  • Documented Sales Success of meeting and achieving sales goals
  • Ability and success in negotiating contracts
  • Ability to navigate, develop and manage relationships amongst key decision makers, C-Suite
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to travel up to 70%

 

Offering:

  • Base Salary $125,000 – $175,000 (based on experience)
  • Bonus, MBO = Year 1 @ plan up to $300,000+
  • Travel Expenses
  • Benefits Package
