Our client is a leading manufacturer of recreation equipment and amenities. Seeking an Architectural & Design Specification Specialist responsible for establishing and maintaining key relationships with A&D firms driving business and expanding market reach.  Collaborate with architecture and design professionals with incorporating the organization’s products into their projects, providing support throughout the design and specification process. The Specialist will have a pulse on commercial construction projects, attending industry events and tradeshows building brand awareness.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with architectural and design firms, attend presentations and industry events
• Lunch and Learn presentations to key influencers, product demos and education programs with firms
• Build and maintain relationships with design professionals, architects, landscape architects, etc.
• Ensure products are accurately written and represented in projects and support design professionals throughout the entire design and specification process
• Track specification leads and convert into closed projects in collaboration with sales team
• Manage and maintain a pipeline; track activity, trends and opportunities and prepare reports
• Build brand awareness by attending tradeshows, events and American Institute of Architects / American Society of Landscape Architects meeting
• Keep well-informed of available products, industry standards/codes, competitors and market trends

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Architecture or Landscape Architecture
• Min. 2+ years of Architectural Design and Specification process experience
• Sales experience a plus
• Experience with CSI MasterFormat a plus
• Experience building key relationships with architectural and design professionals
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM tool
• Ability to travel within territory

Offering:

• Base Salary $90,000+ Bonus (based on experience)
• Expenses: Car Allowance + Gas, Travel
