Administrative / Office Support – Construction

Our client is a leading supplier of recreation equipment. They are seeking to hire an Administrative / Office Support Specialist responsible for supporting the accounting team administratively with daily functions such as data entry, POs, invoices and order entry. Provide customer service support and general office support. This role will also assist the Payroll dept with hours.
Role MUST report to an office located downtown Houston area.
Responsibilities:
- Support Accounting department with various administrative tasks
- Assist with invoices for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Support order entry
- Prepare and distribute POs to vendors/ suppliers
- Help manage Pay Apps; ensure accuracy of documentation
- Support Payroll department with hourly submissions
- Maintain records, data entry
- Professionally respond to client inquiries in a timely manner
- Provide administrative support to GM as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, in Accounting a plus
- Min. 3+ years of Administrative / Office Support experience
- Knowledge/Understanding of General Accounting principle/functions a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to details
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Offering:
- Salary $50,000 – $70,000 (based on experience)
- Full Benefits Package, 401K
