Account Manager – Inside Sales – Construction

Our client is a leading manufacturer of outdoor equipment and amenities. They are seeking to hire an Account Manager responsible for managing and developing new and existing accounts and distributors. Support and drive sales growth across assigned national and regional territories by building strong relationships and delivering high-level organization, product expertise, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Meet / exceed sales goals and overall objectives; develop strategic plans
- Manage existing accounts and distributors, collaborate to develop new business
- Maintain and grow client/partner relationships
- Evaluate and qualify inbound leads; forward to appropriate reps or distributors
- Partner with sales reps to create customized designs for projects; providing cost estimates, drawings, competitive insights, and installation support
- Prepare proposals and quotes for accounts and distributors in a timely manner
- Process orders, add to system to be taken over by project coordinators
- Create conceptual drawing and design drawing requests
- Support and educate sales reps on available resources including website best practices, product training and quote tool
- Ensure favorable customer experience and satisfaction in collaboration with internal departments
- Manage territory performance as well as personal performance; track, measure and analyze data
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Min. 1+ year of Sales experience
- Customer Service experience
- High activity-based account management
- Experience in building supplies, working with architects, and/or construction sales experience preferred
- Project management experience preferred
- Excellent Communication & Presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, CRM
- Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects
- Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment
- On-site position, M-F
- Minimal travel up to 25%
Offering:
- Base Salary $60,000 – $70,000 (based on experience)
- Bonus @ 100% at plan 30% (uncapped)
